Welcome to Old Shepreth

We are The Shepreth Memory Preservation Society: join us as we do some hard travelin' thro’ changin' times in the old village of Shepreth, Cambridgeshire. Read tales of train whistles and dirty washing, marching boots and ballet pumps, victory dances and Valentine songs. oldshep.co.uk is dedicated to the Shepreth villagers who sacrificed all during two world wars. The website was launched on 01.01.2013, with stories about life in Shepreth during the Great War. This isn't just local history; it's local history with Kinks (and Elvis and Paul and Woody and Bob).
